Why Barrie Operations Choose Quick F/X Epoxy

Barrie yards and bays cannot afford a floor job that drags on, so we settle the sequence before touching the slab. Concrete is prepared properly, the system is picked for the traffic, and the timing is written into a straight quote. Jay, our founder, handles the first call, the quote and the walkthrough, and his own crew does the work, not subcontractors.

I got an estimate on Friday and had a new basement floor by 4pm on Monday. Kuljit and his crew were awesome. Our concrete was Rough, cracks and holes. Now, it’s perfect !! It was also way more affordable than I thought it was going to be.

Outstanding Epoxy Flooring Service! I couldn’t be happier with the results! The team was professional, punctual, and clearly skilled at what they do. They took the time to prepare the surface properly and explained every step of the process. The final epoxy floor looks incredible — smooth, glossy, and durable. It has completely transformed our porch into a clean, modern space. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality really stand out. Everything was completed on schedule and within budget, with zero mess left behind. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for top-quality epoxy flooring and great customer service!

Floors for Commerce Park Drive, Saunders Road and the Cundles Road Corridor

Barrie sits where Highway 400 meets Highway 11, so trucks are in and out of its working buildings all day. Distribution bays, trade contractors’ yards, fabrication shops and service garages cluster around Commerce Park Drive, Saunders Road, Cundles Road East and the Essa Road end of town. Snow arrives off Kempenfelt Bay early and stays late, and every pallet jack, tire and boot brings salty meltwater onto the slab. Bare concrete under that treatment dusts, stains and breaks down at the joints.

Quick F/X Epoxy applies industrial epoxy flooring in Barrie only after the slab has been read: moisture and hardness measured, the surface diamond ground, cracks and saw-cut joints repaired. We then pick the system around what actually happens on that floor. A truck-door apron wants a textured, chemical-resistant topcoat. A fabrication bay wants a build thick enough for steel and wheels. A coved base along the wall makes washing down simple. For racked stock and dock lanes, our warehouse coatings page goes further. For Barrie homes and garages, see Barrie residential epoxy.

Our Industrial Flooring Process

01

Free Quote for Your Floor

Tell us about the building, the floor area and what moves across it, and send a few photos. We talk through epoxy and polished concrete options with you and come back with a clear quote.

02

Plan Around Your Operation

We agree the schedule with you before work starts, including which areas close and when. Larger floors are done in sections so production, storage or shipping can keep running around us.

03

Concrete Preparation

The slab is ground back to open, clean concrete and damaged joints and cracks are repaired, so the coating bonds properly and stands up to forklifts, pallets and spills.

04

Coating or Polishing

We install the system chosen for each area: a high-build, chemical-resistant epoxy where traffic and fluids are heavy, or a ground, densified and polished slab where the floor stays dry.

05

Walkthrough and Handover

We walk the finished floor with you and confirm when each area can take foot and vehicle traffic again, so your team knows when to move back in.

Industrial Floors We Coat

Polished Concrete for Barrie Dry Storage and Showpiece Bays

Where a Barrie floor stays dry and the concrete is sound, such as a clean storage hall or a service bay without oil, polished concrete is a practical option. The slab is ground, densified and polished to a hard, low-dust surface. Marks and cracks already in the concrete remain. Wherever oil or chemicals will be spilled, epoxy is the better choice. Aggregate exposure, sheen and slab checks are covered under polished concrete in Barrie.

Frequently asked questions

Can you coat part of a Barrie bay while the rest of the building keeps running?
Yes. We work in sections and move through the floor in an order agreed beforehand, so loading, assembly or storage can continue elsewhere. You know in advance which area is closed and when it reopens to traffic.
A sealed epoxy system with chemical-resistant topcoats stands up well, because meltwater stays on the surface and mops or squeegees away. Cracks and joints are filled during preparation so salt cannot work underneath.
We can run the coating up the wall as a coved base, which removes the hard corner where dirt packs in. It makes pressure washing and daily cleaning quicker and keeps liquids from creeping behind the wall.
We look at the area, the condition of the slab, the repair needed and the system the traffic calls for. Send dimensions and photos and Jay returns a straight written quote, with the timing set out alongside it.

Request a Written Quote for Your Barrie Industrial Floor

Tell us the street or area, the approximate square footage and what rolls, drips or gets dropped on the slab. A few photos of the joints, door thresholds and worn lanes let us return a clear written quote and a proposed order of work.
