I got an estimate on Friday and had a new basement floor by 4pm on Monday. Kuljit and his crew were awesome. Our concrete was Rough, cracks and holes. Now, it’s perfect !! It was also way more affordable than I thought it was going to be.

Outstanding Epoxy Flooring Service! I couldn’t be happier with the results! The team was professional, punctual, and clearly skilled at what they do. They took the time to prepare the surface properly and explained every step of the process. The final epoxy floor looks incredible — smooth, glossy, and durable. It has completely transformed our porch into a clean, modern space. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality really stand out. Everything was completed on schedule and within budget, with zero mess left behind. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for top-quality epoxy flooring and great customer service!

Meet the man behind Quick F/X Epoxy

Jagsir Singh Jhinger (everyone calls him Jay) is the founder of Quick F/X Epoxy. When you hire us, Jay is the guy you’ll talk to on the first call, during the quote, and at the final walkthrough.

He started Quick F/X Epoxy after years on the tools in the local flooring industry. He grew tired of seeing companies rush jobs, skip prep work, and leave clients with floors that couldn’t handle Ontario’s brutal winters. From cracking garage floors to peeling commercial shops, Jay realized almost every failure comes down to two things: cutting corners on prep and rushing the job.

Quick F/X Epoxy was built to change that. Local homeowners and businesses deserve better surface preparation, top-tier coating systems, and honest communication. We deliver an epoxy floor service that actually stands up to road salt, moisture, heavy traffic, and freeze-thaw cycles.

If you are looking for reliable Mississauga epoxy flooring installers, you won’t find a bloated corporation with pushy salespeople or rotating subcontractors here. It’s just Jay and his hand-picked crew putting in the honest work to build a durable epoxy garage floor in Mississauga. Every project gets our full attention.

Your Own Slab, Ground and Polished to a Lasting Shine

Polished concrete is not a coating. Instead of adding a layer on top, the concrete slab itself is ground flat with progressively finer diamond abrasives, hardened with a chemical densifier and polished until it reflects light. Grinding deeper exposes more of the stone inside the concrete, so the same process can give a plain, even finish or a floor full of visible aggregate.

There are three standard finish classes, set by how deep the slab is ground:

Class A, cream finish: only the very top of the slab is ground away, about 1/32 to 1/64 inch, so the surface stays mostly cement paste (roughly 85% to 95%) and barely any stone shows. The result is an even, plain colour for clean, contemporary interiors.

Class B, salt and pepper: taking off around 1/16 inch reveals the sand and small stones just under the surface, giving the floor a fine, speckled pattern. It is an understated look that works on most commercial floors.

Class C, coarse aggregate: a deeper grind exposes the larger stones in the slab for a bold, terrazzo-like look. Which stones show depends on the original pour, so every floor is a little different.

Quick F/X Epoxy installs polished concrete floors across Southern Ontario. Because there is nothing on the surface to peel or wear through, a polished slab suits floors with steady foot traffic, such as corridors, showrooms, retail and office floors, schools and healthcare facilities, and it can be finished anywhere from a soft satin sheen to a high gloss.

Polished concrete is different from terrazzo, which is a new floor of decorative chips set in a binder, and from commercial epoxy flooring, which coats the slab rather than polishing it. If your slab is badly damaged, or you want colour and pattern the concrete cannot give, one of those may suit you better.

Why Polish Your Concrete?

How a polished floor turns out depends on the slab. Cracks, patches, old adhesive and previous coatings all show through once the surface is ground, and some slabs are better coated than polished.

Quick F/X Epoxy looks at the concrete first and tells you plainly whether polishing is the right choice for it. Because we install epoxy and terrazzo systems as well, we can recommend whichever floor suits the space rather than the one we happen to sell.

No coating to peel, chip or wear through
Densified surface that resists concrete dusting
Low-maintenance floor that cleans with a damp mop
Finishes from a satin sheen to a high gloss

Frequently asked questions

What is polished concrete?
It is an existing concrete slab that has been ground, hardened with a densifier and polished with finer and finer diamond abrasives until it shines. Nothing is applied on top, so the floor is the concrete itself.
Polished concrete is your existing slab, ground to expose and polish the stone already inside it. Terrazzo is a new layer of decorative chips set in a binder and then polished, which allows more control over colour and pattern.
Most sound slabs can. Heavy cracking, deep damage or a thin topping may not polish well, and existing paint, adhesive or coatings have to be removed first. We check the slab before recommending it.
There are three finish classes, set by grinding depth: Class A cream, with little or no stone showing; Class B salt and pepper, with fine sand and small grains exposed; and Class C coarse aggregate, with the larger stones exposed. The sheen is chosen separately, from satin to high gloss.
