Why Ottawa Warehouses and Workshops Choose Quick F/X Epoxy

An Ottawa warehouse or workshop has deliveries to meet, so the floor plan is settled before we arrive: which zones, in what order, with which system. The concrete is prepared properly, and the quote is straight and in writing. Jay, our founder, takes the first call, does the quote and comes back for the final walkthrough, and his own crew does the work, not subcontractors.

I got an estimate on Friday and had a new basement floor by 4pm on Monday. Kuljit and his crew were awesome. Our concrete was Rough, cracks and holes. Now, it’s perfect !! It was also way more affordable than I thought it was going to be.

Outstanding Epoxy Flooring Service! I couldn’t be happier with the results! The team was professional, punctual, and clearly skilled at what they do. They took the time to prepare the surface properly and explained every step of the process. The final epoxy floor looks incredible — smooth, glossy, and durable. It has completely transformed our porch into a clean, modern space. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality really stand out. Everything was completed on schedule and within budget, with zero mess left behind. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for top-quality epoxy flooring and great customer service!

Industrial Floors from the Carp Road Corridor to the Airport Lands

Industrial space in Ottawa is spread out. Older warehouses and workshops sit on slabs that have been patched more than once, newer distribution buildings line Highway 417 and the Carp Road corridor, and yards and service buildings fill the business lands around the airport. What they have in common is a floor that carries pallets, carts and steel wheels every day, and bare concrete that sheds dust onto stock and machinery as it wears.

Quick F/X Epoxy approaches industrial epoxy flooring in Ottawa slab first. We take moisture and hardness readings, diamond grind to open the surface, and repair cracks and control joints before any coating goes down. The system is then chosen zone by zone: a heavy build where pallet jacks turn, a chemical-resistant topcoat around battery charging and maintenance benches, and a textured finish at the dock doors. For racking aisles and bulk storage, see warehouse floor coatings. For everything else we install in the city, see floor coatings across Ottawa.

Our Industrial Flooring Process

01

Free Quote for Your Floor

Tell us about the building, the floor area and what moves across it, and send a few photos. We talk through epoxy and polished concrete options with you and come back with a clear quote.

02

Plan Around Your Operation

We agree the schedule with you before work starts, including which areas close and when. Larger floors are done in sections so production, storage or shipping can keep running around us.

03

Concrete Preparation

The slab is ground back to open, clean concrete and damaged joints and cracks are repaired, so the coating bonds properly and stands up to forklifts, pallets and spills.

04

Coating or Polishing

We install the system chosen for each area: a high-build, chemical-resistant epoxy where traffic and fluids are heavy, or a ground, densified and polished slab where the floor stays dry.

05

Walkthrough and Handover

We walk the finished floor with you and confirm when each area can take foot and vehicle traffic again, so your team knows when to move back in.

Industrial Floors We Coat

Polished Concrete for Dry Ottawa Storage Space

Not every part of a building needs a coating. A dry storage area or parts room with sound concrete can be ground, densified and polished into polished concrete: hard, bright under high-bay lights, low in dust and quick to dust-mop. The slab’s existing marks and patches stay part of the look. Where oil or chemicals are on the floor every day, epoxy remains the better choice. For a whole building finished this way, read about polished concrete in Ottawa.

Frequently asked questions

Can you stop an Ottawa warehouse slab from dusting?
Yes. A dusting slab usually has a soft or worn top layer. We grind back to sound concrete, repair the weak spots and seal it under a coating, or densify and polish it where the area stays dry. Both options cut down the dust that settles on stock and equipment.
We do. The floor is split into sections, racking and stock are moved in stages, and each area cures before traffic returns to it. Nights, weekends or a planned shutdown are all possible, and the schedule is agreed in writing before we start.
Usually a high-build epoxy base with a chemical-resistant topcoat, since oils, fluids and battery acid will reach the floor. We add texture where the floor gets wet and keep it smoother where carts need to roll freely.
Yes. Where the floor and lower walls are hosed down together, a coved base carries the coating up the wall, so water has no corner to sit in and no open joint to soak into.

Request an Industrial Floor Quote in Ottawa

Give us the part of Ottawa you are in, the square footage and what moves across the floor, whether that is pallet jacks, carts or vehicles. A few photos of worn patches, joints and the dock area help, and we come back with a written quote and a proposed sequence for the work.
